In order to solve the main problems facing the university on International cooperation of NJSC “KazNMU named after. S.D. Asfendiyarov” by the staff of the PCD department is carried out:

1) training of highly qualified specialists, including for the CIS countries and non-CIS countries. Students from the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, India, and Pakistan were trained at the department using a modular system. In addition, as part of research and development work, students of the Republic of Kazakhstan regularly participate in international conferences and congresses under the leadership of the teaching staff of the Department of PCD;

2) conducting fundamental and applied scientific research as the basis for high quality education and sources of knowledge and technology for effectively solving the social and economic problems of modern society. Employees of the PCD department are constantly establishing program on the “Visiting Professor” and academic mobility. Thus, in the last two years alone, leading professors were invited from Russia (Prof. Ovsyannikov D.Yu., Prof. Solovyova I.L.), Kyrgyzstan (Prof. Sulaimanov Sh.A. and Associate Professor Chernysheva E.A.), professors from Uzbekistan and Turkey (Prof. Shirin Guven);

3) integration of various levels of professional education. Employees of the PCD department are full members of the organizations “Association of Neonatologists of Russia” (since 2012), “Union of Pediatricians of Russia” (since 2015), “International Pediatric Respiratory Society” (since 2018). They represent articles at international conferences and congresses: VI International Scientific and Educational Forum “Mother and Child”, May 19-20, 2023, Almaty; International scientific and practical conference “Healthy Generation – Future of Kazakhstan”, dedicated to the International Children’s Day, May 1-2, 2023, Almaty; XVI International Congress “Man and Drugs – Kazakhstan”, September 6-7, 2023, Almaty; X Anniversary Congress of Pediatricians of the CIS Countries “Child and Society: Problems of Health, Development and Nutrition”, September 14-16, 2023, Bosteri, Kyrgyzstan; International Congress BioGaia, September 21-22, 2023, Almaty; IV Congress of Anesthesiologists and Resuscitation of Kazakhstan, October 12-14, 2023, Almaty.
