Research work at the university has a priority position at all stages of the educational and educational process of the department at all levels of student education, being one of the factors ensuring the professionalism and relevance of our graduates. The purpose of the research is to create effective research activities of students (formulation of research questions, critical evaluation of scientific literature, effective use of international databases, participation in the work of the research team). In the student scientific circles of the department, students are involved in scientific work, as well as in closer contact with patients, master the skills of clinical and systems thinking. The main sections of the scientific circle of the department are topical issues of pediatric hematology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, neonatology. On December 14-15, 2021, Samarkand Medical University held the II International Olympiad “Samarkand 2020” in which students of our University took part.
